Meet GreatAuPair Blogger: Fallon Collins
Fallon spent nearly five years working as a high school English teacher before deciding to join the GreatAuPair team. Her experience with children of all ages, including toddler triplets and infant twins, has proven to be a valuable asset to the company. Her organizational skills, creativity, and willingness to take on any obstacle have also contributed to her success with the team.
With a Bachelor’s degree in English already under her belt, she is also finishing up her MFA in poetry and will be writing blog entries from the perspective of a former nanny and educator. Although she is not a parent, she has a good understanding of the sensitivity involved with hiring an au pair, and hopes to share her knowledge and tips with all of the members of GreatAuPair.
When we asked Fallon what she loves about being a part of GreatAupair she replied, “I love talking to people from all over the world. Being a nanny is truly one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever been a part of, and I genuinely enjoy providing insight and tips to the members of the site. Everyone in the office has bent over backwards to make me feel welcome at the company, and I couldn’t have asked for more support as I transition into a new career.”
